Traditional Marketing Vs Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing is also called ‘Internet Marketing’ web marketing or online marketing .
Digital Marketing is very different from Tradition marketing.

• TRADITIONAL MARKETING is unidirectional (one to many). Information spready by company is (Active). Information received by consumer is (Passive). Consumers can only listen to the advertisement of view the advertisement, in this way viewer is passive only and the company which is spreading the information is active.

• Scheduling of Traditional marketing is long term process. Ad campaigns are planned for long period of time.
• Communication with the consumer is private. Communication between the consumer and the company is by email, phone, discussion between consumer and company is kept secret. Information shared to one consumer cannot be given to other consumer. If one consumer raises the short coming of a product, the company donot ever share short coming of that product with other consumer.
• Availability of traditional marketing is only during the working hours.

• DIGITAL MARKETING is multidirectional (many to many). Both Ad company and consurmers are active. Consumers are active. Consumers can raise the question and representative of the company responds on the same time.. Consumer can also comment on the information sent by the product company. Consumer can also like, dislike or comment.
• Scheduling of the Digital Ads is short term. Ad compaign are planned for short term and can be modified keeping in view of the consumer comment and response.
• Communication between the consumer and company is public. Any one can read the communication between the consumer and company representative. Comments are public and any one an read the comment and join the discussion.
• Availability – all the time (365 days, 24 hrs)
• Response time is very very quick, as soon as the consume see the ad, the consumer straight way can click on the link to get the further information of that product, so decision can be take instantly.
